Beyond the mat

Yoga is not the only way to feel strong. Ashton is a Level 3 Personal Trainer, a Level 2 Fitness Instructor and a qualified reformer Pilates instructor, and she brings the same care to a reformer bed or a training plan as she does to a mat.

  • Reformer Pilates

Feel strong, challenged and empowered with reformer Pilates. Spring-loaded resistance that is kind to your joints and quietly demanding everywhere else.

    Wednesdays, 8 – 8.45 pm · FitLife Haddenham

  • Mat Pilates

Pilates pared back to you and the floor. Slow, precise work that builds deep core strength, steadier balance and better posture from the inside out. No springs and no kit, just breath and control, scaled to wherever you are starting from.

Private & small group · by arrangement

  • Personal training, in person or online

One to one with a Level 3 coach, built entirely around you and what you are training for, whether that is your first proper session in a gym, finding your way back after a break, or a start line with a date on it. Train with Ashton in person around Haddenham and Oxford, or online from wherever you are, on a plan that fits your week and progresses at your pace.

Meet Ashton

“Yoga is a hug on a mat, and that is how I hope every class feels.”

Hi, I’m Ashton. I’ve practised yoga for over fifteen years, and I have been teaching since 2018. Years in an office taught me that moving regularly wasn’t optional for my wellbeing, and now I’m lucky enough to share that with hundreds of people every week.

Yoga is more than a physical practice. You don’t need to be flexible to begin. You only need to be flexible of mind. Every class offers modifications, whatever your experience.

Good to know

Do I need to be flexible?

No. You don't need to be flexible to do yoga. You need only be flexible of mind. Modifications are offered in every class, whatever your experience.

I've never done yoga before. Which class should I start with?

Both classes welcome complete beginners. Choose vinyasa if you want to move and build energy, yin if you want to slow down and stretch deeply. And your first class is half price with code FIRSTCLASS.

What's the difference between vinyasa and yin?

Vinyasa (Yang to Yin) is a music-led flowing practice that raises your heart rate and softens towards the end. Yin is slow and still: postures held for minutes at a time, cosied up with blankets and bolsters.

Do you teach reformer Pilates?

Yes. Reformer Pilates runs every Wednesday, 8 – 8.45 pm at FitLife Haddenham, and you can book it like any other class. Ashton also offers mat Pilates and personal training as private sessions, arranged directly with her.

Where do classes run?

Vinyasa is weekly on Tuesdays, 8 – 9 pm at FitLife Gym in Haddenham, and reformer Pilates weekly on Wednesdays, 8 – 8.45 pm, at the same studio. Private sessions and personal training run around Oxford and the Buckinghamshire border. The timetable above is live, so it always shows exactly what is bookable next, wherever it is.

How do I book?

Everything runs through Bookwhen. Pick your class, pay, and you're on the mat. Spaces are limited, so booking ahead is the safe move.

Retreats & workshops

Time set aside for yourself, off the clock and on the mat. Ashton’s retreats and workshops run from a few focused hours to a full day, gathering a small group for movement, food and stillness.
